Website creation

Does your brand even exist these days if you don’t have a website? And not just a website, a mobile-friendly, responsive website.

We use Squarespace - this is the platform we built The Inclusive Branding Agency’s website on, and that webuilt the Women in Foreign Policy website on. Squarespace is intuitive and user-friendly, which means you don’t have to keep a developer on retainer every time you want to add a photo, or product, online. In fact, my website creation package includes training so that you can take on content refresh in-house - or you can hire me to carry it out.

When it comes to your website, inclusivity is key, whether it’s making sure that it is fully accessible to people with disability, using photography that represents all your potential customers, or using non-exclusionary language. You want a digital presence where people feel welcome and that their identity is taken into account.

Representation is key in the photography you us: all your customers need to be able to see themselves on your site.

CASE STUDY: INCLUSIVE BRIDAL PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

Bridal industry so white and skinny is a very real issue. If you are a bride-to-be of colour, or plus size, you rarely see yourself in wedding dress lookbooks or product shots. Which is obviously a massive opportunity for an organisation willing to take that leap.

For a new lookbook, we made the decision to hire models of colour as well as sizes 12 to 24.

As a result, the brand saw an increase in the number of photos organically pinned on Pinterest, creating great word of mouth.
